Lunar
I’m working on a new series called “Lunar”. I have always been drawn to the moon and often gazed up and observed it for hours during the night. I’ve spent time in the dark zones photographing the moon on regular nights and during celestial events. I started creating my moons using acrylic paint several years ago and expanded on my artistic representation of the moon using resin and glow pigments. I am sculpting and painting natural scenes to compliment my moon paintings which has developed into this new series of work. I had this idea a while ago and have worked on developing it’s natural aesthetic on my own. I am truly enjoying the finished pieces and look forward to evolving the series.
